Vin Diesel joked in recent interview that Facebook owes him billions of dollars for being the most popular celebrity in the said worldwide social networking site.
Vin Diesel Facebook Timeline Screengrab
With over 41 million people liking his page and counting, even Facebook executives are wondering how Diesel it and even reached the point of requesting him to see them and tell them how he had gotten that much support from the people.
Even the 45-year-old "Fast and Furious" actor himself could not believe how popular he is on Facebook but he said that his secret all has got to do with him communicating with the people and making it real.
Unlike most celebrities who have other people maintaining and updating their fan pages and official Facebook accounts for them, Diesel said he makes it a point that he updates his page himself and he always tries to interact with his fans.
"So, when I had started my page, the only person that had a million fans was Barack Obama," Diesel told the Entertainment Weekly. "Because it was first-quarter 2009, and he'd just got elected as President, because of social media. So, when I started talking to the fans, I became the No. 1 page in the world. Over Coca-Cola, over huge companies. And it was only because I said, 'Hi, guys, I love you.'"
He further told EW that apart from him updating his page himself, he also said that he is unique because unlike other stars, he doesn't allow anyone to post on his wall for him in the last four years. This made him feel even more surprised and overwhelmed by the great number of people supporting him despite of that fact.
"My audience knows me so well on the page that if my producing partner's in the room when I post, they'll know somebody was around me. That's kind of cool, that's how sophisticated they are," he said. "Facebook really owes me billions of dollars. But whatever," he added jokingly.

In an interview with InTouch Weekly, the 51-year-old "Celebrity Apprentice" star mentioned that she has lost a lot of excess weight following a gastric-sleeve surgery last year, 106 pounds to be exact. She proudly announced that she's "officially skinny" and has somehow reached her targeted weight.
The comedian shares her weight-loss success with her husband who had also undergone the same procedure.
In a separate interview, the TV personality said she and her husband, apart from their health concerns, were really tired of being considered "laughing stock" because of their built. Prior to opting for the help of modern medical and technological treatment, they have tried a lot of dieting techniques, all of which failed because they just really "like to eat."
At present, Lampanelli is at least three sizes smaller than she was prior to the surgery and is proud to have already thrown all her "fat" clothes away. She enjoys shopping now for new clothes and is even on the lookout for sales to get much more clothing with as little money spent.
Lampanelli didn't deny the fact that she is still continuing to maintain her current state by practicing a healthier lifestyle, regular exercise and proper diet.

The 19-year-old "Baby" singer was able to break free and fled to the side of the stage while his guards tried to grab the man. During the struggle, the man overturned the piano before he was finally caught by the guards and taken off the stage.
Bieber took a few minutes break while his crew took the piano off the stage as it was damaged from the earlier scuffle. Bieber then returned to the stage to wrap up the concert with the songs, "Boyfriend" and "Baby" as if nothing happened.

Taylor Swift's new $17 million mansion in Rhode Island was paid by the singer in cold cash, TMZ reported Saturday.
Swift $17 Million Mansion In Rhode Island
The gracious oceanfront estate was originally listed for about $20 million and Swift got a good deal by eventually only paying $17.75 million.

The 11,000-square-foot home stands on 5.23 acres of land in the seaside village of Watch Hill, RI. It has 8 bedrooms, 8 large
fireplaces, and a Pebble Tec outdoor pool.

Katherine Webb was forced to leave ABC's celebrity diving competition, "Splash," because of an injury.
During an interview on Tuesday afternoon with Robin Leach of Las Vegas Sun, Webb was asked about the injuries everyone in the competition sustained and she said, "I already have mild scoliosis in my upper-mid back, so just landing wrong into the water really hurt. For any diver, you land in the water and you get back up again, and you try to perfect your dive. So in training, I would land wrong, but it put too much pressure on my back. I saw a doctor, and he gave me recommendations. And you will see on the show coming up what happens.
"It gets more difficult in the weeks to come because you are challenged to do even riskier dives. With risk comes success or failure. It has been an experience. But before you ask for more, let me just say it is a case of stay tuned!"
During Tuesday's episode, Webb revealed that she went to her doctor and was unfortunately told that she is out of the competition due to her injury.
Because of this, a recently eliminated diver, Louie Anderson, has made his comeback to replace her. But it seems that the pool isn’t really meant for Anderson as well at the moment as he himself decided to pack up and go home instead of competing against Brandi Chastain. Things seem to not go so well behind the scenes.

Fruit-only diet sends Ashton Kutcher to hospital
Kutcher said he spent a couple of days in the hospital prior to shooting because of pancreas problems.

Karate kid dad wants zip line at his ranch
According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Ralph George Macchio, Sr., father of Karate Kid actor and Dancing With the Stars celebrity Ralph George Macchio, Jr., plans to build a 3,500-foot-long zip line ride that would run from an Adirondack mountaintop to his Wild West Ranch in Lake George.
The project would include construction of two 34-foot towers in Macchio's properties near the top and base of French Mountain and four cables to connect them. A swath of trees would have to be cleared along the route to carry riders down a vertical drop of 700 feet to his ranch.
The zip line proposal is currently being reviewed by the state Adirondack Park Agency and by town planning boards in Lake George and Queensbury. If approved, it would be the first commercial zip line of its kind in the Adirondack Park and would be part of a proposed $1.5 million tourist attraction for the area which includes an outdoor amphitheater, parking and retail shops.
Some nearby landowners have raised concerns regarding the visual and noise impacts of the Karatid Kid dad's zip line.

Jodie Foster delivered an emotional speech upon accepting the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award given to her at the Golden Globe Awards 2013. Check out the transcript as well as the video of Jodie Foster's speech below:
Jodie Foster during her acceptance speech (Youtube)
"Well, for all of you ‘SNL’ fans, I’m 50! I’m 50! You know, I need to do that without this dress on, but you know, maybe later at Trader Vic’s, boys and girls. What do you say? I’m 50! You know, I was going to bring my walker tonight but it just didn’t go with the cleavage.
"Robert [Downey Jr.], I want to thank you for everything: for your bat-crazed, rapid-fire brain, the sweet intro. I love you and Susan and I am so grateful that you continually talk me off the ledge when I go on and foam at the mouth and say, ‘I’m done with acting, I’m done with acting, I’m really done, I’m done, I’m done.’
"Trust me, 47 years in the film business is a long time. You just ask those Golden Globes, because you crazy kids, you’ve been around here forever. You know, Phil you’re a nut, Aida, Scott — thank you for honoring me tonight. It is the most fun party of the year, and tonight I feel like the prom queen. Thank you. Looking at all those clips, you know, the hairdos and the freaky platform shoes, it’s like a home-movie nightmare that just won’t end, and all of these people sitting here at these tables, they’re my family of sorts, you know. Fathers mostly. Executives, producers, the directors, my fellow actors out there, we’ve giggled through love scenes, we’ve punched and cried and spit and vomited and blown snot all over one another — and those are just the costars I liked.
"But, you know, more than anyone else, I share my most special memories with members of the crew. Blood-shaking friendships, brothers and sisters. We made movies together, and you can’t get more intimate than that.
"So while I’m here being all confessional, I guess I have a sudden urge to say something that I’ve never really been able to air in public. So, a declaration that I’m a little nervous about but maybe not quite as nervous as my publicist right now, huh Jennifer? But I’m just going to put it out there, right? Loud and proud, right? So I’m going to need your support on this. I am single. Yes I am, I am single. No, I’m kidding — but I mean I’m not really kidding, but I’m kind of kidding. I mean, thank you for the enthusiasm. Can I get a wolf whistle or something?
"…be a big coming-out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age, in those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met. But now I’m told, apparently, that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show. You know, you guys might be surprised, but I am not Honey Boo Boo Child. No, I’m sorry, that’s just not me. It never was and it never will be. Please don’t cry because my reality show would be so boring. I would have to make out with Marion Cotillard or I’d have to spank Daniel Craig’s bottom just to stay on the air. It’s not bad work if you can get it, though.
"But seriously, if you had been a public figure from the time that you were a toddler, if you’d had to fight for a life that felt real and honest and normal against all odds, then maybe you too might value privacy above all else. Privacy.
"Someday, in the future, people will look back and remember how beautiful it once was. I have given everything up there from the time that I was 3-years-old. That’s reality-show enough, don’t you think? There are a few secrets to keeping your psyche intact over such a long career. The first, love people and stay beside them.
"That table over there, 222, way out in Idaho, Paris, Stockholm, that one, next to the bathroom with all the unfamous faces, the very same faces for all these years. My acting agent, Joe Funicello — Joe, do you believe it, 38 years we’ve been working together? Even though he doesn’t count the first eight. Matt Saver, Pat Kingsley, Jennifer Allen, Grant Niman and his uncle Jerry Borack, may he rest in peace. Lifers. My family and friends here tonight and at home, and of course, Mel Gibson. You know you save me too.
"But this is the only important one to take in: I love you, I love you, I love you. And I hope that if I say this three times, it will magically and perfectly enter into your soul, fill you with grace and the joy of knowing that you did good in this life. You’re a great mom. Please take that with you when you’re finally OK to go. You see, Charlie and Kit, sometimes your mom loses it too. I can’t help but get moony, you know. This feels like the end of one era and the beginning of something else. Scary and exciting and now what?
"Well, I may never be up on this stage again, on any stage for that matter. Change, you gotta love it. I will continue to tell stories, to move people by being moved, the greatest job in the world. It’s just that from now on, I may be holding a different talking stick. And maybe it won’t be as sparkly, maybe it won’t open on 3,000 screens, maybe it will be so quiet and delicate that only dogs can hear it whistle. But it will be my writing on the wall. Jodie Foster was here, I still am, and I want to be seen, to be understood deeply and to be not so very lonely. Thank you, all of you, for the company. Here’s to the next 50 years."
What can you say about Jodie Foster's acceptance speech?
